Drawing has always been Trigg's passion.

in 1987 he became the frontpage cartoonist for the Hong Kong Standard. Since then his work has appeared in numerous publications such as the South China Morning Post, Ming Pao, Eastern Express and others.

His cartoons have featured in Cultureshock! series over the last 25 years.

As well as cartoons he has painted many caricatures and is currently working on a commission to draw historic buildings in Hong Kong.
